Breast Health Updates

Chinese version Korean version French version Welcome to another edition of Breast Health Updates.

In the past, we discussed two topics with you – the “Breast Cancer Screening” and “Breast Cancer Prevention”. I hope that the provided information is useful in guiding your breast health care.

In the third update, we will discuss non-cancerous breast problems – their presentations and management. As many women will encounter non-cancerous false alarms in their life time, it is helpful to know what they are and how they can be managed and resolved. Therefore, we will discuss several of the most common breast conditions.

On an exciting but different note, breast health updates will now be available in French, Vietnamese, Farsi, Chinese and Japanese. We are grateful to our volunteer translators, Dr. Guy Juillard, Dr. Mai Brooks, Dr. Fahimeh Ziadlourad, Ms. Karen Kung, and Ms. Mitzi Nakamura. All of them are experts because of their professional and/or personal experiences. We hope that no woman will be left in the dark and all can learn important information in breast health maintenance. I am grateful to each of our volunteers who bring our educational initiative not only to women in our community, but throughout the world.

Helena Chang, M.D., Ph.D.
