Several trials are available at the Breast Center, including projects on developing a clinical and molecular predicting model that guides drug selection, evaluating new technologies for early breast cancer treatment, and understanding the roles of physical activity and biomarker-based prediction on survival outcomes post-treatment. Current studies include:
- A Study of Markers in Body Fluids for Early Detection of Breast Cancer
- A Safety and Efficacy Study of Intra-Operative Radiation Therapy (IORT) Using the Xoft® Axxent® eBx™ System at the Time of Breast Conservation Surgery for Early Stage Breast Cancer
- Breast and Systemic Effects of Structured Exercise in Patients with Triple Negative Breast Cancer
All clinical trials for breast cancer offered by UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center are available to all of our patients.
